About This Product

The Mosier's checkered pattern is brought to life by an intricate weave that threads narrow bands of greens and browns together. The checkered lines are softly blended into one another by the subtle color changes and the brushed texture of the Pendleton wool and create the illusion of a larger pattern. The muted colors and textured wool make the Mosier an ideal selection for the autumn and winter months.

About The Manufacturer

We strive to merge turn-of-the-century styling with our Northwest influences. The quality, detail and simplicity of our ties allow them to effortlessly transition between casual and formal wear. Our goal is to create something that might outlive its initial owner, that generations can share the tradition we now share with you. A high standard of quality, rich history and deep roots in Portland made Pendleton wool an ideal selection for this neckwear. From concept to product, we design and produce all of our ties in house. Whether it be the contrast stitching or the hand stamped packaging, every piece shines with its own individual character.

About The Community

"Call it what you want – PDX, P-town, Stumptown, City of Roses, Bridge City or Beervana – Portland positively rocks. It’s a city with a vibrant downtown, pretty residential neighborhoods, ultragreen ambitions and zany characters. Here liberal idealists outnumber conservative stogies, Gortex jackets are acceptable in fine restaurants and everyone supports countless brewpubs, coffeehouses, knitting circles, lesbian potlucks and book clubs. Portland is an up-and-coming destination that has finally found itself, and an appealing, can’t-miss stop on your adventures in the Pacific Northwest." - Lonely Planet

When You Buy This Product

Shopping local is more than a trend — it is the future of a sustainable economy. Studies show that when you purchase products from small local businesses, 68% of the profits go back into that business' local economy, creating more jobs, opportunity and growth. However, when you purchase items from a larger company, only 43% of the profits go back into the community — the rest is wasted on the bloat accrued by such a large entity and, ultimately, into the pockets of shareholders. Where would you rather put your dollars?
