About This Product

Great for camping, the office, vacation homes, care packages, dorms, and more, this is a pocket-size set of organic seasonings that are essential for any foodie on the go, including thirteen flavorful, USDA Organic herbs and spices. Each little pot of spice is the lid for the one below it, so they screw together into a solid stick of seasonings that is not only sturdy, but moisture- and humidity-resistant, as well. And you can customize it to the size you want by removing pots!

Product Facts:

  • 12 organic spices + salt
  • Grown entirely without antibiotics, hormones, pesticides, irradiation or bioengineering.
  • Ships in 3-5 days, straight from PLANT

About The Manufacturer

PLANT is an interdisciplinary design studio founded by Holly McWhorter and Bjarke Ballisager, a husband-and-wife team based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Holly and Bjarke design all PLANT products either together or independently. They share a passion for green design practices, Scandinavian modern lines and a good sense of humor.

Holly is a native of Philadelphia but has been a die-hard New Yorker since 1993. Her additional professional background includes interior architecture and freelance writing, among other things.Bjarke, a native of Copenhagen, Denmark, is also a licensed architect. He comes to product design by way of a longtime passion for it.

About The Culture

"To the extent “Brooklyn” now designates more than a mere landmass, it means: small-batch production, urban husbandry, period facial hair, a fixed-gear bicycle, and “Girls.” And now, of course, you can’t travel to the bottom of the South China Sea without first passing through “the Brooklyn of the Malacca Strait,” or some equivalent." — The New York Times

When You Buy This Product

Shopping local is more than a trend — it is the future of a sustainable economy. Studies show that when you purchase products from small local businesses, 68% of the profits go back into that business' local economy, creating more jobs, opportunity and growth. However, when you purchase items from a larger company, only 43% of the profits go back into the community — the rest is wasted on the bloat accrued by such a large entity and, ultimately, into the pockets of shareholders. Where would you rather put your dollars?
